Our Blossom Tree Montessori School team is led by our Director and Head Teacher, Sara Thakrar.
With a passion for providing a well rounded education along with having been a Montessori teaching, she believes that the first five years of a child’s life are the most important for their development and make a big difference to giving them a head start in life.
We create happy, safe and exciting learning environments that foster children’s imaginations and natural love for learning.

We aim to provide a nurturing, safe and fun environment helping children to settle in and be encouraged for their development
Our educational approach encourages children to develop practical skills, to try things for themselves and become self-motivated learners.
Montessori empowers children to build their confidence by creating an environment that supports them to practice and master their abilities on a day-to-day basis.
By continuously providing the resources children need for creative expression, we inspire them to find their passions and explore their ideas.
Montessori education promotes self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play giving children independence, strong academics and self-motivation with a natural love of learning and discovery.
To promote independence and prepare children for every day life at home, this development area includes enjoyable exercises that teach them to function and find their place in their own environment.
The sensorial activities stimulate the five senses. The materials used provide in an enjoyable way and give teachers the opportunity to discover what kind of learner your child is. Once we know how your child learns we can set up activities that continually challenge them to extend their learning.
Once they can recognise numbers they will move through stages from simple to more complex exercises of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division concepts.
Through art in our learning environement, children explore, create, express, and self develop from purposeful activities. Children feel joy from the focus being on the particular process of creating something.
This includes geography, zoology, botany, science, art and music that are supplementary to the Montessori method. Our aim is to show children how wonderful diversity truly is, embracing and celebrating our differences, sharing our experiences and exploring the world beyond the country we live in.
This is a sensitive time for language development of children and through phonetic awareness activities a strong literary foundation is built. Montessori Language activities are designed to improve a child’s vocabulary, listening skills for common sounds, and differentiating between objects and pictures.
